Really can a family live in 300 Square feet or less? Plus without food Storage . What are you going to do every day go to the grocery store . Which will cost more over time. I did live in a tiny apt and it felt very cramped with dh and two kids

I think it's just a fad and people (especially families) will be over them fairly quickly. Especially now that the economy is better. I think they were a sign of the times.

While downsizing to a degree does make good sense, i think the tiny living trend will burn itself out.
I could maybe do it alone, but not with a spouse or kids.

I would kill someone. I cannot live in that little of space.

I feel bad for the kids they drag into it. People need space. If one farts, the whole house hears it.

Yes people can and do all the time . And have for a very long time. Most families in cities (major metro areas) generally live in small apartments.
