23 and me

Has anyone tried this?  I was adopted from a different country in 1985.  I don't know a thing about my roots or my biological parents.  This (23andme) has me intrigued.  Not to find them necessarily, but to know what I really am.  Looking for honest answers/experiences

I did the ancestry dna since I never met my father and didn't know my background. It's interesting.

A foster mother I worked with did it as she suspected that her biological father was not her biological father. She was right!
