Tip of the day-be careful poking that "leaf" resting in your window

It's time to decorate for fall by adding Halloween decorations so I start by cleaning my windows, there is always random twigs and other things needing cleaned out. Thinking nothing of it, seeing a leaf, I started to clean it out by grabbing it......and a handful of wasps came flying out! A few doses of Benadryl and steroids and a $400 trip to minor emergency center later, lesson learned that leaves and wasp nests look very similar.

OUCH! Were they yellow jackets? I got swarmed by them about this time of the year a few years back and ended up in the ER too. I'm allergic to them and passed out on the way to the ER. I came home pumped full of morphine and with an epi pen.

OMG that's terrible Δ° hope you are doing ok now. DH and Δ° came across a bug we had never seen before the other. Δ°t resembled a catapillar from underneath(it was on our truck window). When we got out it looked like a leaf when it wasn't moving and then it changed and looked like horns as it moved.
