If a little trick-or-treater came to your door with this, what would you think?

If a young child came trick-or-treating to your door with this bag, what would you think?

Would you think the mom is looking for sympathy or attention?

Would you think it was a good idea?

If you have a child on the spectrum, would you do this?

ETA: Not mine, A friend in our local autism group made this for her son. Her husband and mother-in-law felt it was tacky attention seeking

I can see were both sides are coming from. I don't know if I would do it, but I would probably have embroidered it or gotten iron on or something
(to make it easier to read/ more noticeable)

His name is Liam, spelled with a Y

I’d happily give the child candy. I think it’s a fine idea. Some children truly cannot bring themselves to say TOT.

I would think, I wonder why they didn't just write it on his forehead.

I would think it's a good idea. I'd probably fill his bag so full he'd have to drag it down the sidewalk. Lol

I love it but I think its hard to read on the bag.
Maybe a sign you hold next to him?

You can always put teal puzzle peices on it and maybe put "trick or treat" on your phone for PECS?

I wouldn't do it, I'd probably just say trick or treat. But it's fine.

Me too. Some adults get cranky if kids don't say ToT along with thank you.
