What can I give trick-or-treaters besides candy?

If you celebrate Halloween- what do you give away?

I love Holidays, I don't mind spending extra to get in the spirit. I always give out mini candy bars. They were my favorite to get growing up

There's a few kids in my neighborhood with peanut allergies, and I know there are a few autistic kids whose families limit sugar intake, so this year I would kind of like to have another option for them they they love just as much as I loved candy bars

What is a fun prize to hand out that kids might actually like??

Pretzels are a favorite in this house. Only thing that is guaranteed to be eaten before they get stale....

They have a section at Target with that type of stuff. Plastic fangs, spider rings, bubbles, glow in the dark bats, super balls, etc.

Who or what is Hidaya?

You could hand out individual packets of popcorn or pretzels.

Amazon.com had a couple bags of 100 toy cars (the reviews were good, comparable to hot wheels) for $15-$18. They also had bags of little assorted toys as well, it's worth a look.

I always give out quarters.  I don't want gobs of candy hanging around the house anyway, and whatever I don't give out just goes back in the change jar.
