I still have my wisdom teeth. I went in for my normal 6 month appointment and the dentist said my gum was swollen....thanks captain obvious I hadn't noticed. he then said I should get it removed. I said no because they are growing in straight. he said it 4 more times and I said no every time. this fucker set up an appointment for removal and expected me to pay for it ahead of time. I told the woman at the desk I wasn't paying at all unless she removes the wisdom teeth appointment.

ffs how many times do I have to say no?! and trying to sneak it in there like I wouldn't notice my normal $80 payment was $100 more?! smh I hate this dentist.

So $100 for all 4 wisdom teeth to be removed?  You should have jumped at it.

How would you know they're coming in straight? Pretty certain a dentist will be more knowledgeable than you.

Well just because your wisdom teeth are straight doesnt mean they will ever come through on their own.  And if they are causing your gums to swell there could be an underlying infection and you should have them removed.

Maybe you should listen to your dentist.

they are half way out already. swelling is a normal part of a tooth growing in. hence why babies cry and drool when their teeth are coming in.

How is having your wisdom teeth removed going to screw up the rest of your teeth?  I had three removed, my teeth are where they always have been.
