My husband randomly gave me

$150. I asked what’s this for and he said whatever, one stipulation, do not spend it on the kids (I never buy for myself, always for the kids). However, I don’t want or need anything. I have clothes, don’t need anymore books, I’m good on candles and decor and make up and hair stuff and socks and underwear. There is literally nothing I want at all. So I’m thinking maybe take my little one to the aquarium tomorrow and then pumpkin picking. I get cute photo ops so technically I’m not spending it on kids? Or do you think that qualifies as spending it on kids?

No that’s spending it on the kids. Save it and use it when you need something

That’s still kind of spending it on the kids.

I don’t need/want anything. Making my kids happy makes me happy. I’m not used to spending money on me.

That is spending it on the kids.  Save it or get a facial/mani/pedi/something.  It would make your dh happy for you to spend it on yourself.  Can you give him that?

Get a manicure, a massage or new makeup. Spend it on you, not the kids.
