Note to 18yo self

Finish college, because even though you don't regret the path you chose, the distractions back then DO NOT compare to the distractions you face when you are 36! Being married, raising kids, working full time and dealing with a chronic illness of a child, all hail in comparison to the distractions of what your 18 year old self thinks are important while trying to complete your degree.

Binge drinking in the evening is NOT compatible with an 8am calculus class.

Trust me on this one. You're gonna fail, hard. It's going to literally derail your entire life. It will take you 10 years and a whole lot more dumb and dangerous mistakes before you get your sh** together and recover from that.

If I could do it all over, and I can't, I am almost 35 lol. I would have moved to LA or New York, majored in something sensible and just gone to audition after audition while taking acting/singing/dancing lessons on the side. Ah well...

Don't quit just bc its hard or bc you become suicidal. Seek help first.

Though honestly, in order to really have fixed my life, the letter should be to my 16 year old self... though maybe not. If I didn't have ds, I would've already killed myself I feel. Or really started drugs.
