So the last few days have been very hard on me as a mother. We live in an apartment and we are on the bottom. So our neighbor was sitting outside the other night and heard a weird noise on our patio. She figured we were asleep but hollered down and said are you ok? And she saw someone run from our patio. So the next night it happened again and the person ran between some trees then ran across the field to a car. So the neighbor called the police and they knocked on our door at 11pm with suspicious activity going on at night and he wanted us to come outside and look around our patio with him. Well he pointed out the girls window screen has been badly damaged and metal bent. So someone is tryibg to get to my babies. :'( and my other neighbor found a fire starter lighter and a pack of cigarette's. I'm am scared! If any opinions pn what i can do to keep my family safer will help.thank you!

Get motion lights. Flood lights that turn on at any sign of motion

Get cameras.

Contact the apartment complex and let them know what’s going on.

Common sense would be to switch bedrooms if you truly believe that someone is trying to break into your kids room.

Buy a gun and keep a monitor in the room or switch rooms.

First put up spot lights and cameras. I would def have them sleeping in your room not just switch. And I'd buy a video baby monitor and have that set up so I could see in real time if anyone is trying to get in. Also put a note up letting whoever the hell it is know they are being recorded

Get thicker curtains, and a motion sensor light for your patio.
