Why is it so hard to get information from medicaid???

In theory you would google your question and find an answer but not with state insurance! If I have a question I either have to wait an hour or two on hold at 8am, or chat with agent who knows so little their name could be Jon Snow, or go down physically to the office myself only to wait FOREVER and be told the same thing I was told on the phone which is basically nothing.

It's like the government doesn't WANT you to be able to easily figure out a question on your own but then huffs and puffs like you're a major inconvenience when you go to them for answers and then expects you to just figure out the question on your own but then the cycle continues!

I think the inconvenience of all aid is supposed to be a motivator so you don't stay on it.

Probably bc there's a lot of people on it and not enough people to do the work needed to keep up with the demand put on the system.

I've gone down to social services quite a few times and NEVER waited all day to see someone. Including the time after a major hurricane hit and people were frantically going to looking into services.

What’s the question? Maybe someone with some knowledge will be able to help.

Ours is t to bad, you might get a few run around but overall it’s pretty painless.
