I started this year at 109 lbs which is fine for my height.

I'm now 179lbs. I was put on a medication called remeron. No matter how healthy I eat, I keep getting bigger. Help? My doctor won't allow me to go off the med entirely. He reduced it, but won't pull me off.

Cut your carbs to 20 or less in a day. Exercise regularly.

Ask your doc if he can change your meds.

Cut out all sugary drinks like Coke or Pepsi. I lost 30lbs just doing that.

I do have a heart condition that makes my heart beat super fast on its own. So, even laying in bed in doing cardio cause my bpm is like 112-120. You'd think that would help me lose weight

No sugar, smaller portions, do not eat after 6pm.

Yeah I don't think that's quite how that works. Too bad :)

What's the medication for?

I just count calories and workout. I eat what I want within my range.

I would get a fitbit and make sure you do at least 10,000 steps a day and you can challenge yourself to do more. I would do as another suggested and no soda with sugar. replace one meal a day with just a salad-no meat. But you can put as many veggies as you want on it just be mindful of cheese and dressing and croutons etc-you can have some but don't go overboard.

I would start using myfitnesspal for counting calories to at least give you an idea of where you are with calorie consumption every day.

Take up an active hobby whether that be hiking, biking, yoga, zumba, etc

To tell you the truth, I don't think you should worry about your weight rigth now. Just focus on staying healthy. That's the most important thing.
