And the community. This store isnt part if a chain. Its just one store that is ownee by a couple in the area. Everyone always says how nice the store is and how they like shopping there over some chain.

Well starting in Sept. They did a a contest. Every $100 you spent your could get a ticket for a free turkey. They were giving away 5 free turkeys and 1 grand prize winner was getting a whole meal.

Well they had a video up on facebook of all the winners. 1st issue 5 people were white 1 asian couple. 2nd issue none of these people looked like they needed anything for free. All nice houses in a nice neighborhoods. On the video there was a few comments about how the store should of gave those prizes to people that need it.

My comment was....
Dear winners,
Please give your turkeys to the poor. They deserve a Thamksgiving too.

Some people said that they entered the contest so they deserve to win. Some others said how there is always help and freebies for the poor.

Man people suck. I couldnt enjoy my meal knowing that Ibkept a family from a turkey.

“For every $100 spent”

Which means people with more money get more entries....

What did you expect?

It was a contest, not a charity.

I don't believe that a contest is only open to the poor. Jesus Christ, how stupid.

You can't always tell by looks how fortunate someone is or isn't. The winners deserve to do what they wish with their prizes.

I agree but everyone wants something for free, the rich included.

Right? I spend about 500 a month at the grocery store. People followed the rules. Why should people have to give up something they won fair and square. There are others places that give away free thanksgiving meals

Are you giving someone in need a turkey?
