What do I take as a gift? We're going to my bf's families house... I've never done thanksgiving before. My 16 year old is pretty excited.

Any ideas?

Wine is always good. It is a potluck?

I'm not sure. Bf asked me to look for something this morning before going to work.....he forgets that I've never done this before.

What kind if desserts do you eat on thanksgiving?

It’s still just a family meal. If it’s a potluck, ask what you can bring. If it’s not, a nice bottle of wine or a fall floral arrangement are good picks.

A bottle of wine or something like that is fine and always appreciated. Usually if I'm bringing a hostess gift I'll bring wine and flowers or wine and a nice candle.

Where are you from that it's new to you?

I'll remember that when I go look around.
