If you can’t afford to have everyone fly

There’s a wedding out of state but you can afford 2 tickets vs 4 which means only you and 1 kid or you and your so can go. Would you just not go?

Driving is not an option. We have an older car so we’d have to rent and it’s a 20 hour drive.

I'd leave the kids at home. Although I would never fly just to go to a wedding.

I'd find a sitter for the kids or drive

Depends on our other commitments and the child’s age, but if any, it would be me and DH. I would not go alone with a child.

I didn't have more kids than I could afford so I'd fly us all out
