Did you watch the movie and documentary?

Do you think you’d still be able to believe in god if you went through something like that?

I did watch it. I’m sure maintaining her faith was one of the few things that kept her going through all of that. I’d be praying to my gods and goddesses everyday for strength and a way out myself.

I haven't seen it yet. I don't believe in the first place.

I really couldn’t imagine going through that. I’m happy she got out of there alive though.

I have not watched that particular show, but I am familiar with her story. Although I am no longer a believer, I think that praying probably helped her to cope with the trauma she was experiencing.

I met her. I work at a child advocacy center and she did a fundraiser for us.

She is strikingly beautiful in person. This is something that happened to her...not who she is. She’s amazed that she got through it, just like everyone else. At least that’s how it seemed.

I did. I was astonished she had so many opportunities to get away from her kidnappers and let the opportunities pass her by. She believes in God after the whole ordeal. Why would it stop anyone else?

I didn't I have it on DVR so I will.

I can barely believe in God now, I can't imagine retaining my faith going through something like she did.
