Is your turkey out of the freezer and thawing?

Does everyone have their turkeys out of the freezer and thawing?  Keep in mind that it takes 24 hours for every 5 pounds of turkey.

And lets talk stuffing....

So, what do you call it....

1.  Stuffing or dressing?

2.  Inside or outside the turkey?

3.  What is your geographical location.

Me?

Dressing

Outside

My dad brings up a thawed Turkey and a ham so I doubt worry about it.

Stuffing even though it's cooked outside the turkey. We deep fry and it skeeves me out thinking of stuffing inside the turkey.

Pacific northwest.

I just bought my frozen turkey today but it’s only 10 lbs so it should be thawed in time!

I’m making stuffing in my crockpot.

I get a fresh turkey. No thawing. I’ll place it in a brine tomorrow night.

From a culinary perspective, I believe dressing goes inside the turkey and stuffing is made outside the turkey. I make stuffing. I was born and raised in ks where my grandma made dressing. I currently live in Mn.

LOL.  I think it's the opposite of what you just said.

Stuffing goes inside the bird (hence the name) and dressing goes outside.
