Over the weekend we went to a mall and got the kids' Christmas pictures taken. The portrait studio was very crowded and had all ages of kids waiting around including my 13 year old son and 10 yr old DD.

Then all of the sudden, this lady pulls out her boob to feed her baby. It was like she literally flopped out her boob for all to see. I know they sell wraps or whatever they are called to cover your breast while nursing. Why doesn't everyone use those for nursing in public places?

My teenage son saw her breast and was very uncomfortable! How would you feel?

Edit to add that the lady was standing up (if that matters) and if she doesn't want to use a cover up, at least be discreet enough to turn around for a second while you take out your boob.

Wow, we're really scraping the bottom of the barrel on old posts this morning aren't we? My son knows what breasts are for so it wouldn't be a problem.

The woman was within her right. Teach your children to just look away.

I wouldn't feel anything. Baby was hungry.
If your son was uncomfortable, you failed to teach him that breasts are for feeding babies, not getting him hot and bothered. That's on YOU, not the mother feeding her baby.

i don't know what you are saying that it's an old post. this just happened on sunday to us. the lady could have had some dignity to turn around facing away from my son so he didn't have to see her breast.

My son would have been so embarrassed lol
I would just tell him to look away and that some women feed in public.

I never once covered and I never once showed any boob either and I am not small chested.  Covers are not necessary to be discreet.
