My moms friend grosses me out when she touches me or cooks for us bcz she was born without thumbs..does someone with missing limbs gross you out if they touch you or cook your food? Not trying to offend anyone here sorry

Uh no, that's like saying someone with a missing leg grosses you out or something. It doesn't make sense

I don’t know why it’s so gross. They have less fingers to have germs on. 🤣

The only person I ever knew with missing fingers was my tech ed teacher in middle school. It didn’t bother me.

I cannot say that has ever bothered me.
I used to work with a man who only had one arm. It honestly, barely registered with me (probably because he was so competent using just one hand/arm to do things).

I have a fear of people with missing body parts/limbs and I also have a fear of midgets. It's irrational and makes me feel like an awful person.

It gives me an awkward feeling of guilt/appreciation and gratitude that I have ___.. I don't feel grossed out or judgemental but I wish I had a more neutral reaction. I also perserverate so I'd think about it after.

Not at all. I had a family member that was a double amputee.
