SHUT UP HELP

I had to come sleep in the guest room for like the 3rd time in a week and probably 30-35th time this year due to my husband's snoring. It's so bad. I would love to sleep with every night but I have a job and children to take care of. I need good sleep. Has anyone gotten help with snoring or has your partner? I can't take this shit anymore.

Everyone is happier in my house since I got my cpap.

He needs to talk to his doctor. Sleep apnea can kill you.

Have his doctor send him for a sleep study.

How long does a sleep study take? Like how many nights would he need to stay at the clinic?

It is generally one night. My husband has one and I get mine Thursday. He is so much more rested since he got his. I can’t wait to get mine.

They can actually be done at home but I wouldn't recommend it, he would have to go to hospital or clinic then for another anyway if they think he would benefit from a CPAP. Usually it is one night, if they think a CPAP is needed they can hook him up with one that same night and then another one a few weeks to a month later to check the settings. This is how it's done in the hospital I work for anyway.

he needs a sleep study done.

I have sleep apnea

I use one of these now, they take about a week to get used to, but are a relatively 'easy' fix'

Hopefully I won't have to convince him to do it. I have high blood pressure so It probably wouldn't hurt for me to do one as well. However I feel his is more important first since he's preventing my sleep. Ugh it's so loud.

I went two different nights. The first night I was hooked up to all of the wires and just slept. A week later I went back and had to use a mask so they could set up the setting for the cpap machine.
