Long distance relationship failed

So my boyfriend broke up with me yesterday.

We were on the phone and I told him I was so excited he'd be home on break from college Friday.

He said, he wanted to talk to me about something. He said he didn't want to do long distance any more.

We had been together 4 years total, 2 of which were long distance. He said he wants a girlfriend who lives on campus so he could see her more.

I asked if he was already with someone else and he admitted he's been talking to a girl there for a while.

I go to a community college in our hometown. I had to stay local so my parents and his would help watch our 2 year old while I go to class or work.

I guess I'll just try to move on but I'm so sad.

I wonder if his parents know?  Do you think they would still want to take care of your two year old?

Yeah I was looking forward to Christmas with him and our kid. Especially since he's old enough to enjoy opening presents now.
