What's a good baby doll for a 7 year old?

I've adopted a family for Christmas. The 7 year old's list just says baby doll. Nothing specific.

So what's a good doll?

I have 3 boys. Dolls are not my expertise. Lol

Thank you! I ordered the bye bye baby alive. I hope she likes it.

1 mom liked this
Baby alive.

My daughter loved American Girl dolls but they were 100.00 a doll.

American girl dolls, or the version Target has, my Dd says they are the same except the Target brands heads have never fallen off. Her American girl dolls head fell off.

Dds favorite doll has a soft body, actual hair, and can go in the tub. We spent hours finding just what she wanted when she was 4. It wasn't cheap but it has played in sand and mud with her. It has been to the snow and taken tons of baths. It has been camping, on vacation, and on bike rides. She's had it for 3 years and it's still in great shape.

Definitely baby alive. They're durable, and popular. I got my DD the Baby Alive face paint fairy (no actual paint). It's really cute! Comes with a little pen that changes the color on it's face to look like face paint, and detachable wings, and a diaper and sippy cup. It drinks and wets.

I don't have an American girl doll budget...lol

I'd like to keep the doll under $50.
