Blame common core and the twisted thinking required for it. It's a complete waste of time and just busy work. If they stuck to the old way there would be more time to learn what is actually necessary for life.  Another Obama fail.

My kids struggled in a much different way. They struggled with bullying and inadequate schooling. The "gifted program" was absolutely pathetic. Thankfully, they're intelligent and well-adapted regardless.
