Intermittent fasting. Who's done it? Tell me about it. My biggest struggle is a rotating schedule and I haven't figured out how to fast on it.

I do that all the time unintentionally since I don’t eat breakfast

I love having breakfast. I'm thinking since I woke up at 1:30 I'd wait until 6-7pm to eat. Then be finished eating by 2 or 3am. Maybe in my days off still eat breakfast but later in the day and basically skip dinner? I don't know. This is harder than it seems.

Does it work?  Yes.  Does it fuck up your metabolism?  Yes.

Then what's with all these people claiming they skip breakfast and are skinny as fuck?

Do a 24 hour fast once a week. Not hard at all!

It is cutting calories not magic. You won't get "skinny as fuck" just skipping one meal! Lol

That doesn't work for me. I only eat once a day most days, and I have not gained or lost any weight in several years. I remain 10 lbs overweight.

It's not just about the amount of calories. I've been on a calorie restricted diet for the better part of 2 months without losing a single pound while exercising 5-6 times a week. I should've at least lost 3-5lbs.

I think I'd be miserable only eating once a day.
