i don't live in oregon or new jersey so of course i can pump my own gas. i haven't even seen a full service gas station in nearly 25 years.

I don't know.  I don't drive, so this has never really been a concern for me. I'm sure I'd figure it out if it came to it.

Absolutely. Never driven where it wasn't a necessity.

I lived most of my life in NJ, we aren't allowed to pump our own gas there.  Then when I was 43 we moved to MA.  We didn't have our own car until 2-years ago (husband had a company vehicle for 4 years), so I really never had an opportunity to pump my own gas until last year.  It's weird, and I'm still getting the hang of it.
