How would YOU deal with a 9 month old who keeps having tantrums because you won't let her take your eyeballs? ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

Seriously...At first it was funny but my eyelids are getting sore and I keep telling her no and removing her hands from my eyes. She starts screaming and crying then goes back for my eyes. I've tried distracting her, giving her toys, singing, playing games...shes just obsessing over my eyes right now. And she's not trying to claw them out. She's coming at them with her little pincer grip like she's trying to pick them up. She even gets mad when I close my eyes to protect my eyeballs.

While in a way it's seriously hilarious, it's also weird and is starting to become painful... and I could use some advice lol

Don't hold her if she does it. Everytime she tries put her down immediately and ignore her tantrum

Sternly say no. Then do it 100 more times. Ignore her crying caused by it.

Keep telling her no and being consistent. Eventually she'll get it.

Remind her โ€œGentle handsโ€ โ€œno touchโ€
Put her down. Stay out of reach.

Its hard when they donโ€™t understand and also canโ€™t communicate.

Try red wine and putting her down. She'll still throw a fit, but you won't care. LOL
