Big interview today. Company is a clothing manufacturer that is know world-wide. The headquarters happen to be in our small town. It is a very casual work environment, dress-wise. Jeans and t’s and vests.... tevas and flip flops.

I am planning on wearing Ann Taylor dress pants (black, had them for years) and a cream colored gap wool sweater and black flats. Too dressy? Not dressing enough?

Teva... hideous strappy open foot shoe.

Interview dress sounds fine.
Id rethink the position if tevas and vests were mandatory. 😜

I’d try to wear something made by that clothing manufacturer if at all possible.

If theyre casual vests I would NOT wear to interview, but I would say “i was tempted to wear my “their name vest”. Looks like Id fit right in!” And smile.
Shows you like their stuff AND have similar outlook as other employees.
But I do think if they arecasual, you should dress a little nicer for 1st time interview.
