Two months ago, I just got a refill of my son's asthma meds. $15. My DD was just diagnosed with asthma. Same meds, 57 dollars.

I paid it, but fuck! That's insane.

Try GoodRX.  We use that rather than our insurance because the copay is less.

Thank you, I'll look into that.

Try GoodRx, I hear good things about them. Supposedly they find the cheapest price.

Check the cost between pharmacies too. I had one compound that my copay was similar $47 ugh. Yet one day on the fly I got it refilled else where and it was $20.

When we had a high deductible plan, we were paying up to $1000 a month for meds one year and we had a $6000 deductible! It really sucks.

Look for a prescription savings card for whatever med he's on.

Wow. That’s a steep increase. Our copay doesn’t change, no matter the cost of the medication. We pay $15 flat rate for anything and everything. I don’t know if it will stay that way, but it has been this way for about 4 years with no increase. My child requires a lot of meds and I would lose my mind having to pay higher costs.

It is insane for the medication to cost $57.00 dollars and $15.00 dollars two months ago.
