Dd lost her first tooth, but her other tooth has been coming in behind it, it looks really far back. Will it move forward as it comes in more?!?! Or should I start saving for braces? I added a before the tooth came out Pic.

She has an appointment in 2 weeks for a dental check up. But, yea it just looks so set back.

Now that the baby tooth is gone, it will probably shift forward, but it might be worth consulting her dentist. Not much they can do right now, though.

Dds bottom front teeth came in like that and moved forward on their own.

She does have braces now but that was for overcrowding on the top.

I guess until then, keep an eye on it and see if it moves into position.

They called it a "shark tooth". My daugter had it and it shifted forward by itself. Nothing to be alarmed about.
