My family hates my fiancee

My fiancee and I are getting married next week and my family will flip out. They dislike him and will not even come over anymore because he has served time in prison for identity theft. He has done his time and is reformed and I love him. He is a great father to his daughter and we want to be a family.

They have the right to avoid a felon, you have the right to marry who you want. Move on, they don’t need to accept him.

Yeah, get credit reports often, on your kids as well. Can't say I blame your family at all.

Great, so you're marrying a man who's earning potential is limited due to his felony conviction.

Fiance is the word you use for a guy.  Fiancee is the female version of the word.   I don't blame your family.  Have higher standards for people you plan to marry.

Yeah that sounds fun.

Yeah...... I wouldn’t be thrilled either.

How does he earn a living?

I don't blame them. But you're an adult so make your choice and deal with it.
