You didn’t finish your dinner so sorry!

My niece is staying at my house tonight, I made chicken, green beans and mashed potatoes. She finished her mashed potatoes and wanted more. I told her “finish eating your chicken and green beans and then I’ll give you more mashed potatoes” she refused so I told her then go to bed. You’re not getting anymore food tonight. She is now waking me up saying she’s hungry. Sorry child, I told you to eat your dinner. Not happening with me! I told her she was going to be hungry, she did not listen. I put her to bed and now she’s fake crying 😒

I would never treat a guest that way, let alone a child. Poor thing is probably missing mom right now.

Yeah, I don't do food battles. Especially with kids who I did not birth.

You sent her to bed straight from the dinner table?

Why are you being so difficult about food?

I would have given more potatoes, better than going hungry and she is eating. Food is not a battle I fight.

You could have done that better. Thats a stupid thing to have such hard rules about.
