I had them growing up. They’re great dogs. If this is your first dog, I wouldn’t start with a GSD. They need excessive training and exercise.

They are great dogs, but need a lot of work and training or it can turn into a bad situation. I would not recommend them for a first dog.

I have always had them, will only have them, but they can be very dangerous if not well trained and socialized...

They do a lot of this, usually right in the middle of the busiest area of the house....

I have relatives that have a mix of Lab and German Shepherd. Very nice dog but needs lots of training, exercise and socializing. It took a lot of intense training to get him to be social and behaved.

I have a German shepherd, used to have 2, as long as you spend time with exercise and training they are great dogs. I have 3 kids and I have never had a problem and I am hoping to get another one the middle of the year.

German Shepherds aren’t for everyone. They are a lot of work according to some owners I know. I’m not really a fan.
