so I work as a craft service person on sets for tv shows and photo shoots. I had a baby 2 weeks ago. today I went back to work and kept her in a ring sling or her pram behind the table all day. my family is flipping shit because my boss tagged me and dd in a picture serving food to a model. I had to hide the post from them so they wouldn't blow it up. but now my phone is buzzing non stop, "you're going to kill yourself" "you're going to kill that baby" "you need cps called on you" "you should be ashamed of yourself" on and on and on until I finally just shut my phone off.

ffs my family is petty and dramatic as hell....

Sounds like a perfect setup. Work and baby time. Best of both worlds.

Your family wouldn't like me. I own my own business. I was sending emails and doing the schedule while in labor. Then doing payroll still in the hospital after dd. By the time I had my second dd I hired a manager though.

I was back to work 3 days after giving birth billing from home. I ended up only doing half days for 2 weeks due to problems I had. Congratulations on your little one.
