My dh of three months just came in and woke me up. He's in jeans and a t shirt.
Him "have you seen ANY of my sweatshirts?"
Me "yeah, I washed three yesterday. They're folded in the guest room."
Him "I checked in there. There's none."
Me "hmm, did I put them away?"
Him "no, I checked the closet too."
Me "uh oh"
Him (he's still new enough that he was confused) but he followed me down the hallway to my 19yos bedroom. I poke my head in, yep, there's his Giants sweatshirt, hung over her computer chair. I grab it and hand it to him. Then I quietly gesture for him to follow me some more.
We go to my 17yos room. Sure enough, his blue sweatshirt is on her floor.
Then we get to my 13yos room. She's still wearing the evidence. I could see the hood pulled over her head while she's sleeping.

Me "sorry. You have daughters now."

He just laughed and kissed me and headed out to work. God, I love that man.

hugs

That is adorable.

Them "stealing" his sweatshirts, tells me that they love him too.

This is a great story.

No they don't. We're family. They borrow from me, and each other and they're older brother too.
They ask if it's one of my work outfits or an expensive dress, but we're pretty laid back around here.

Borrowing and taking are 2 different things.
