Enjoy your refunds while my husband and I have to pay our taxes since we make too much. We filed jointly and have 2 children claiming them only reduce how much we owe. He works as a anathesologist (spelling?) he makes six figures and I work as a store manager at Publix I'm not quite at six figures but we filed jointly.

You'll live, just like we do. Might look at adjusting your withholdings so you don't owe at the end of the year.

Lots of people pay. My mom and step dad pay each year and she's near retiring and he's on disability. And she never gets upset that my dh and I get couple thousand back each year.

Really? Are you serious with this? I'll pay a bit more in taxes and still take home more than I'm currently making. In fact that's why I'm busting my ass in college. To make six figures, pay a few taxes and overall have more money than I currently have.

Boo hoo. So you make 200,000 a year(ish) and are bemoaning the fact that some people that probably make less than $40,000 get a few grand back at tax time. I feel so bad for you, let me send you a pizza as my condolences. Or would you rather a cookie?
