People making six figures gets shafted...

Enjoy your refunds while my husband and I have to pay our taxes since we make too much. We filed jointly and have 2 children claiming them only reduce how much we owe. He works as a anathesologist (spelling?) he makes six figures and I work as a store manager at Publix I'm not quite at six figures but we filed jointly.

My DD owes the state $1000, she’s a bartender and doesn’t make 6 figures. She'd be happy to pay if she did.

Clearly, since you can't correctly form a sentence either.

Quoting Anonymous 1: I can't even pronounced half of the medical terms or even spell them, my husband puts the patient them to sleep when they going into surgery. I worked at Publix since I was 16 and moved my way up to store manager and been there for 16 years now and not leaving Publix anytime soon. I didn't go to college.
Quoting Anonymous 4: You don't know how to spell your husband's occupation?

Oh geez. I'll gladly take my extra $150,000 a year than get a few grand back right now. I rather enjoy not worrying about food and bills ALL year long as opposed to just February.

Oh boo hoo Miss I make so much money throughout the year that I don't have to struggle with paying bills or buying food.

Yes, but it's your husband's profession. You have to see the world all of the time. Did you just get married yesterday? You don't need to go to college to learn how to spell one word.

You're doing many things wrong then.

We had to pay this year too. My husband makes close to $200K and I don’t know what happened this year, but we only got a child credit/deduction of $2,850 for 4 kids 😳. We manage our money well so we’ll be able to pay, but it sucks that the more you make, the more you get taxed. We live in a very nice area in Ca so we aren’t rich by any means.

Anesthesiologists are very well paid. I am not sad for you.

We also make 6 figures though I am sure not nearly as much. Our refund is smaller this year than it ever has been.

Okay. You’re not suffering. My dad owed upwards of 10-15K a year due to what he made. He could easily afford the payment. We never suffered.

We don't make 6 figures and we owe state. That has never happened before.
