I've seen so many of you here who are the guilty parents. Be the parent not the friend!

I agree completely....I wonder how many parents are spending their ridiculous refund on crap and vacation when they have a child failing school who could use a tutor.

We went to parent teacher conference and a head official at the school said, you know what is funny the parents that show up are the ones we don’t need to speak with. The ones we REALLY need to talk with don’t show up. I said I’m not surprised they don’t care.

*rolls eyes* the entire classroom, just filled with abhorrent students with bad parents, never ever the teacher’s fault.

I see a lot of caring parents on this site doing the best they can.

No, some parents could do better. How ignorant to say it as if all parents, cause most parents are involved parents who do care.

Same for teachers, some teachers are crappy teachers, some teachers are amazing teachers. I’d never label all teachers as bad because of a few bad apples.

Cracks are the problem.

Its everyone BLAMING everyone else!

Its EVERYONES PROBLEM.

Parents of these types of kids need community support. Schools need to pick up what 2 people cant do. Communities need to care and help. Town, county, state Mental health services need to be available and accessible. Parents, schools, Drs Police need to be in the loop and screw all these “privacy” laws.

As long as we sit blaming each other no one is responsible!!!

Sometimes it’s on the teachers also.  There are teachers who just suck.  There are also parents who suck.  I think all parties involved should be held accountable.
