Do you know this saying?

This afternoon I was getting ready to iron some of DHs clothes. I asked him if he wanted his pants White Boy Style or Black Boy Style.

Our friends that are visiting, had never heard this.

White Boy, is no crease, Black Boy is creases.

Have you heard of This? Do you say something that others may not understand?

No, I've never heard someone turn ironing into a race thing.

It's just something my grandmother always said, everyone in my family. White people don't put creases in their clothes. Black people do. Obviously isn't not true, but the saying stuck.

Quoting mama_danetta: No, I've never heard someone turn ironing into a race thing.

Nope, I've never heard it called that. I've always called it the "grandma crease" because grandmas love that crease down he front lol.
