I live in a 3 bed room house

I have 3 kids, ages 7 5 and 4. The two youngest are boys. They share a room. It’s decently sized. Almost as big as my room. My dd the oldest has her own room, which is big enough for just her.
I want another baby before I’m completely out of the young child stage with my kids but as of right now we won’t be able to afford a bigger house for about 3 years. (We are building on our property)

Do you think it’s irresponsible to have 3 kids in one room? I mean obviously If I have another baby it’d be in my room for a while and my boys room is big enough.... I dunno, I feel it’s weird but dh insists it’s fine. He and his three brothers shared a room. And it’s temporary

Opinions?

the real question is....why do you care what a bunch of strangers think?

I don't think kids should ever have to share a room. I always made sure my house was big enough for my kids

Well I’m just trying to get opinions.
I think 3 kids to one room seems a bit much, just trying to see what the general population thinks

It's not really that big of a deal for 3 young children to share a room for awhile

It depends on how large the room is.

Why do you assume it'll be a boy?  It could easily be a girl who could share with her sister.

Or if it is a boy, you could switch and give the three boys the biggest room.

There are many ways to make it work. Have you seen these loft bed rooms? Basically each kid has a loft bed and under is like their own personal space? I think they work out well. My ex's sister and BIL had 5 kids in one room, granted it was only in the summer but their room was amazing.
