Last time I take my dh word for it.

5 years ago when my dh and I bought our home it came with a stove. My dh told me one of the burners didn't work. I took his word for it so I never used that burner. Every thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter we avoided using that burner.

Well Saturday we bought a new stove and having it delivered tomorrow. Well we were thinking of selling our old one. So I turned on the "broken" burner. It was never broken. My dh had it set to accusimmer setting that is why it only simmered.

So since it was perfectly fine we decided to keep it as a backup. Especially since it is a whirlpool gold brand.

I would have made the owners put in a new stove before buying the house.

No way, I'd rather get to choose my own!

Sorry but that's sort of your fault too.

Why would you just take his word for something like that?!

I'm not that trusting.  I have to verify shit for myself.

Who keeps a back up stove? If the new one breaks the warranty will cover it.

LMAO.

I would send the new one back and use that one.

I'd have to see if I could fix it.
