Stay in a hotel?!?!?! WTF?!?!

We're supposed to get 8-12 inches of snow tomorrow. DH's job said that anyone who thinks they can't get in tomorrow should stay in a hotel tonight so they can come in to work tomorrow.

What the ever living fuck? DH has an OFFICE JOB. Everything he does is on the computer. It's 2018. Have they never heard of working from home?

Does he have the option to use personal time?

Unless his job has telecommuting setup then he needs to get a hotel room. What industry is his office job in?

No. It's busy season. They aren't allowed to take time off.

DH is working from home. I'm 37 weeks pregnant.

I would ask if work is going to pay for the hotel. If not then i will work from home if it is work that can be done on a computer.

Assholes. He should just call in “sick”

DH has an office job too, and he’d just bring home his laptop. Work wouldn’t be upset.

When I “work from home” not very much work gets done at all. Lol! Maybe that’s why they want them in the office.
