My SO is chillin on the couch and he realizes his socks don't match so he immediately has a small meltdown and ask if I actually pay attention when I do laundry. Why the hell does it matter if his sock color is a little off? I see black socks and I fold them together, I really don't pay attention to details. Do you care if your socks match?

I pretty much did. I'm done dealing with his laundry.

...I throw everyone's clothes into their own basket and they deal with it. I've never combined socks together. Fuck that nonesense.

He's wearing them. Does he not notice they're different before putting them on?

My socks always match but my 12 y/o dd always mismatches her socks intentionally.

I do match socks but my DD doesn’t, ever.

I quit doing DH’s laundry the first year we were married. Tell him to get over himself.

That would drive me nuts too. Why bother putting them together if you don’t match them?
