What time do your kids go to bed?

I just said goodnight to my 10 yr old about half an hour ago.

That was roughly 2:00am.

I’m not a stickler for bedtime. Sometimes they go to bed at 9:30 and sometimes it’s really late like tonight. I don’t have a set bedtime either, but I wake up around the same time every morning and my kids are the same. They get good grades and are pretty well behaved. I just let them choose when they fall asleep.

What are your rules for bedtime?

My younger two (13, 14) usually head to their room around 9:30and are typically asleep by 10:30 or 11. My oldest (16) is usually in the shower by 10-10:30, then heads to his room. He's probably up til midnight

Um 7pm for my 2 1/2 year old and 8pm for my 7 yr old 8:30 for 10&11 year old. I’ve learned routine and downtime are key.. I’m more leanent on weekends.

No later than 8:30 on school nights except very rare occasions when we have plans and whenever on no school nights.

You never go out after 7 pm? I can’t imagine being stuck on such a rigid schedule.

Routine is definitely a good thing, and downtime is essential, I just disagree with it being so rigid.
