Am i asexual?

I don't want to have sex. I don't hate it, at times I do enjoy it but going in, it feels like a chore. I'd rather go without it 97% of the time.

But the other 3%, I do get horny. I want to masturbate quite a bit, I've been tempted to find an old sexual partner to get that quickie... but then the thought of having sex kinda kills that horny feeling. I'm ok with watching porn for a few minutes, touching myself and then I'm good for a while. Once I get that out of my system (I can be at 'peak' for a few days), I'm good and don't even think about sex for months.

Medically, I'm fine. I'm 29 so idt it's an age thing.

I'm bringing this up bc right now I'm at a peak and started a sexual text conversation with a friend (we're both single but I know he's liked me for a while. I honestly don't like him like that).... now that I'm normalizing, I feel bad. I totally led him on. Tomorrow, I'll go back to "eww, sex, no thanks" mindset.

So maybe I'm asexual.... but isn't that people who don't enjoy sex at all, don't want it at all? Most likely if I was around my ex, i would've jumped his bones, but I know midway through, I would've been laying there like mkay, are we done yet?

How would you explain me? Other than psycho. Lol

Sorry for the post and run. It's 4:30 and I gotta get a few hours of sleep.

No you are not asexual. My guess is your cycle greatly effects your need for sex due to fluctuations in hormones.

No. Just a low libido.

Being ace isn’t the same as having a low libido. It is when you don’t feel sexually attracted to either gender.
