It feels so good to have a complete family again.

I love having a wonderful guy to help me raise my kids and I love having his kids in my life to love and care for.

I love the fact that our home feels like a real HOME with lots of love and family and to know that it is all of the kids' home as well. They visit their other parents sometimes but this is HOME.

I love the fact that when it comes down to it the kids would rather be with us than anywhere else and that they don't call my SO or myself "steps". They just say Mom and Dad.

I have had a rough life and a lot of hurt and it feels so good to be able to feel truly happy and safe and loved.

Oh dear. This will not go well for you at all.

I'm happy for you! Everyone deserves family and love.

I don't know why a happy post should go anything but well.

Do you let the kids call your ex's partners mom and dad?

Because MC hates step parents, no matter how happy their post is.

They call them what they are comfortable with. As of right now, my ex is single and his ex is casually dating.

So you wouldn't have a problem with your kids calling someone else mom?

Not if the kids were comfortable doing so. If they were forced to, then yes. But if they wanted to? No.
