If you do a bad job while working there?
Like, if you end up losing the company money, can they sue you to try and recoup their losses?
Edited to add.... No employment contact. Just an hourly employee.

Did you sign any contracts with them?

I think it would depend on your employment contract

Depends on how much you've "lost".

I wouldn’t think in my state as we are “at will”. They could try to block your unemploymebt though.

No contract, just a basic hourly employee.

What about if it's your job, but you weren't properly trained? You had been asking for help from management and they ignored you?

No clue. Here’s a bump. I just giggled after writing that, I am apparently very immature

Technically anyone can sue about anything, it doesn’t mean they’ll win. Home intruders have literally sued home owners of homes they have broken into for falling on objects in the home . I’m not even kidding
