Are you planning on being a part of the spike?

Haven't given it much thought, other than we have talked about purchasing a weapon. I suppose an NRA membership would be a natural thing. I have looked at their website and gun safety information. That's as far as I have gone.

And how exactly can you prove this?  Does the NRA make their membership list public?

I think it's stupid. Especially now when they have confessed to taking money from Russia. They also try everything they can to divide the US and their ads are downright propaganda. I am pretty sure the people joining the NRA right now are uneducated conservatives.

You think what is stupid?

They aren't dividing the US.  The ridiculous movement to take away the second amendment is what is dividing the country.

Propaganda how exactly?

You are wrong, we are not uneducated conservatives.

I recently joined. Iā€™m a gun owner (for decades) and decided to finally support the organization that helps protect my 2A rights.

BTW in response to the previous generalization -Iā€™m socially liberal/fiscally conservative with an advanced degree.

Got rid of ours years ago. We are still gun owners but believe in some gun control.
