First world stupid question......

Yes it's a first world stupid question....But my friend and I were discussing this last night....what would you do.

Kid is moving up to the next level in girl scouts next year, they are having a bridging ceremony next week. So the girls that are moving up need the new sash/vest and all the basic patches (flag, troop #s, council patch etc) and pins (all the patches are iron on)

what would you do....

Option 1....Pay one of the moms in the troop $55 dollars and she will go to the shop, buy everything you need and iron/sew on all the patches and have it ready for the ceremony. You do nothing but show up next week.

Option 2....Drive to the shop (5 min from your house) buy all the stuff  (total $32) and iron on all the stuff yourself.

I’d do it myself. I am a skilled seamstress and would have zero problem with it.

I would do option 2 but I'm crafty. Depends on your craftiness level.

Number 2 but we sew all patches on. They stay and look bettter that way. I have DD sew her own on since 4th grade and she has a vest and sash full.

Since it’s near the end of the school year and lots going on I would pay the $55 and let someone else do it.
