We've done everything. Insualted attic, changing light baulbs, insulated water heater, turned off lights when you leave a room... The rate went up 5 times in the past 4 months! This is crazy!! Our bill is $ 250-300 every month. Now gas and oil prices are going to reach $4 a gallon. Who can afford this?! *Sorry had to vent*

My bill for an all electric house has been around $100 a month all winter. In summer we pay up to $200-$250.

Ours is somewhere between $200 and $300 every month. In the summer it is usually pretty high.

Around $300 a month in the winter, summer is much cheaper in the pacific northwest, no need for a/c (and hardly anyone has it).

Older appliances will take a lot, you can try cleaning furnace filters so the furnace doesn't run so much.   We switched a number of light bulbs to LED (cheaper then CFL to operate, and brighter).   And a prorammable thermostat.

Mine is right around $150. a month. We have a heat pump and I think that really helps with the electric bill. Our house is all electric.

around 200-250. I keep the heat around 67 so it's a little chilly but I don't want the bill any higher than it already is.

Holy crap you're lucky. Where do you live? How much do you get charged per kwh?

I'm the same way. We're thinking about getting a woodstove insert for our fireplace to help us out... In the summer I keep our house between 75-80 degrees...
