How many of us were breast fed and how many were formula fed as babies?

I was formula fed. I was born nearly 2 months premature and barely weighed 4 lbs. I spent nearly a month in an incubator then remained in the hospital until I gained enough weight, so the doctors told my mom that formula feeding was the best option for me because she wasn't in the hospital with me 24/7 by the time I reached 5 lbs and could go home she was no longer producing milk.

I was formula fed (as were many in the 50's).  They didn't even have formula like they do now - my mom made some stuff with evaporated milk, karo syrup, and something else, then cooked it.  Everything had to be sterilized, all the time. 

No wonder I was drinking out of a cup early!  No sippy cups then either.
