Do you use dishwater or bathwater to water plants or save it for use in your garden?  Do you collect rain water/snow melt for these purposes?

Nope. We just reduce the need. No one but dh showers daily. We don't water the lawn. Simple stuff. What we do use goes into the septic tank.

I collect rain water to water the plants.  I also collect water from the kitchen sink when I wash my fruit/veggies by placing a collander on top of the pot.  I use that water for the plants as well.

We will start to collect rainwater when we move.

We have a water canister where we collect the rain, which actually over flowed this year with the amount of rain we did get.  And it's just getting into the peak of hurricane season down here.
